While i had made every attempt to follow the rules and policies of ebay, i apologize that i had not done os successfully. I hope that i have corrected the discrepancies with this reenlistment. The badge available for auction is obsolete with the passing of the presidential inauguration in 1981, there is no authority or authoritative powers associated with this item. The valeu and purpose of the item is only that of a collectible that is of historical memorabilia.The collective organizations and individuals who received this item has since, ceased their service for the 1981 inauguration of the u. S. Prseident no reserve! Available is a the obsolete 1981 presidential inauguration police badge worn by the washingtno dc metropolitan police department. This was given to me as a gift 20 yaers ago. It has bene kept in a china closet and i have taken it out for the first time in order to photograph and list it on ebay. The badge was produced by blackington and is numbered, #131 on its reverse. This specific badge was worn during the inauguration (some of these can be found for sale that od not have an engraved number on their reverse). This badge is hard to come by and could be considered to be rare. As per policy of ebay, this badge meets the requirements of tiems of this nature that are permitted for sale on ebay.
